Speaker: Sheila Kennedy

 

Speaker Bio:

Sheila has been a practising Recreation Therapist for over 30 years, primarily with children and youth.  She has a Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation from Douglas College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Recreation Administration from the University of Alberta.  She has spent the bulk of her career working at Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children which provides a range of services to children and youth with disabilities and their families from across the province.  She has served on the Board of BCTRA and strives to continue learning and supporting the field of TR that has treated her so well!
