The Provincial Board consists of eight positions. Individuals for these positions must be nominated and are members in good standing with BCTRA.

The Directors terms are up one year on the even year: President, Director of Ethics and Research, Director of Advocacy and Liaison and Secretary/Treasuer,

The next year on the odd year for following positions are up: Director of Public Relations and Communications, Director of Membership and Regional Development and Director of Education and Recruitment.

Nomination forms are sent to the membership each spring with nominations closing end of July. If there is more than one individual for a position then elections are held by secret ballot at the fall AGM. The individual with the most votes wins the board position.
