BCTRA Webinar: Firing Up Gratitude

This webinar will explore gratitude and the process of seeking out appreciation to self and others. Some of the topics covered include the benefits and barriers of gratitude, applying gratitude, past, present and future and reviewing personality and social types. In addition at the end there will be time to reflect on who inspires you in your life.


Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will gain an understanding of the benefits of gratitude.
  2. Participations will gain an understanding of barriers to gratitude.
  3. Participants will gain a self-awareness of who they appreciate in their life and who has appreciated them in their life.

Speaker Bio: Pam Hamilton


This webinar will be presented by Pam Hamilton. For many years Pam has facilitated family council. She has been a Recreation Therapist for 19 years at Columbus Residence in Vancouver. She is active in the community with seniors and facilitates groups in a program called Freedom. She was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago and became passionate with how gratitude impact her life and that so many benefits came when she started her journal of 1, 000 things I am thankful for project . Pam is currently speaking to medical team in long term care facilities including Brookside, Fairhaven, Pinegrove and Columbus Residences. Her story of gratitude is in the Langley Advance Paper Pam Hamilton 2015 and The Langley Times 2017 Pam Hamilton.
