Attention: HSA Members

We have had a busy start to the fall season here at the Health Sciences Association of BC, with the launch of a professional development fund and the beginning of contract negotiations.

The $3 million professional development fund, made possible by a contribution by the Ministry of Health, was launched last week, and is available for health science professionals covered by the HSPBA collective agreement.

HSA this week also opened contract negotiations for a new collective agreement. The current collective agreement covering more than 18,000 health science professionals working in hospitals and communities across the province expires in March 2019.

Attached please find two bulletins to HSA members that I believe will be of interest to our partners in the professional associations representing health science professionals in BC.

Please feel free to circulate to your members.
